Hero Super Splendor XTEC 2.0 is available in five colour schemes – Glossy Black, Candy Blazing Red, Matt Axis Grey, Matt Nexus Blue and Matt Chestnut Brown
Hero MotoCorp has made the Super Splendor XTEC 2.0 the first in this particular series to get hazard lamps safety feature allowing all four indicators to activate simultaneously during emergencies or breakdown situations. The motorcycle has been launched at Rs. 86,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and is available in five colour schemes – Glossy Black, Candy Blazing Red, Matt Axis Grey, Matt Nexus Blue and Matt Chestnut Brown.
The 124.7 cc single cylinder engine continues to produce 10.7 bhp maximum power at 7,500 rpm and 10.6 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm. It is equipped with fuel injection tech alongside the i3S idle stop-start system delivers a claimed fuel efficiency of 72 kmpl – the highest in its class. The Integrated Starter Generator handles near silent engine restart during idle stop cycles as well.
It removes the abrupt restart noise that typically accompanies stop-start systems in heavy traffic conditions. A front disc brake and a handlebar mounted engine kill switch add to the practical safety package. The fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity displays incoming call alerts, SMS notifications, missed call alerts, caller ID and phone battery status.

A USB Type-C port rated at 2 Amp is also fitted keeping smartphones charged through longer commutes where navigation and communication demands drain batteries faster. Real time mileage indicator and low fuel indicator are also part of the console display. The ergonomic brief has been revised with a wide upright handlebar which is said to offer a relaxed riding posture.
The long dual textured stitched seat is said to provide comfortable space for both rider and pillion. A wide rear grab rail is claimed to improve pillion stability on broken road surfaces. It also features telescopic front suspension and as for the exterior, the XTEC 2.0 comes with dual tone body graphics, a 3D emblem, signature XTEC 2.0 badging and rim tapes.

The refreshed colour palette comprises matte and gloss finishes across five options as mentioned above. The Super Splendor XTEC 2.0 sits within a 125 cc segment that has been growing in a consistent manner as customers upgrade from entry level 100 cc motorcycles.
