Mahindra Scorpio N Facelift (3)

Introduced in June 2022, the Mahindra Scorpio-N expected to receive a round of aesthetic and functional upgrades later this summer

The Mahindra Scorpio-N, the second generation of one of the brand’s longest-running nameplates, is set to turn four years old soon. A facelift is expected towards the end of this quarter to keep the model still fresh on the market. Here are five things you need to know about the new Mahindra Scorpio-N:

1. Refreshed exterior

The new Mahindra Scorpio-N will feature a number of exterior changes, most of which should be concentrated at the front. A new radiator grille and lower air intake grille, tweaked headlamp and tail lamp graphics, and restyled bumpers should be among the key revisions. Mahindra may also offer new 18-inch alloy wheels and a new paint option on the updated Scorpio-N.

2. Redesigned dashboard

There would be some design revisions on the inside, too. Spy shots have already confirmed that Mahindra has redesigned the dashboard of the Scorpio-N, incorporating new, horizontally laid centre air vents in place of the current version’s vertical ones.

4. New instrument cluster

Mahindra equips the current Scorpio-N with a semi-digital instrument cluster featuring an analogue tachometer, an analogue speedometer, and a 7-inch multi-information display. In the new model, it will likely offer a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster with customisable layouts, aimed at giving the cabin a more high-tech look.

5. Three engine options

Like the current Scorpio-N, the new Scorpio-N will likely be offered with three engines. A 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine producing 149.14 kW (200 hp) and 370 Nm (with 6-speed MT)/380 Nm (with 6-speed AT) of torque should be the base option.

The top option will likely be a 2.2-litre turbocharged diesel engine tuned to deliver 128.6 kW (172 hp) and 370 Nm (with 6-speed MT)/400 Nm (with 6-speed AT) of torque.
