TVS sold 5,90,003 units in June 2026 while Q1 FY27 volumes reached a record 16.31 lakh units as it continues to consolidate its sales numbers
TVS Motor Company recorded its highest ever quarterly sales during Q1 FY27 with total volumes standing at 16.31 lakh units. The company also posted its most successful monthly sales in June 2026 by dispatching 5,90,003 units as against 4,02,001 units during the corresponding period twelve months ago with 47 per cent year-on-year growth.
As you might expect, two-wheelers have contributed majorly to the quarterly volumes. The Hosur-based manufacturer sold 15.64 lakh two-wheelers in Q1 FY27 compared to 12.32 lakh units in Q1 FY26 – recording a notable 27 per cent growth. The three-wheeler sales, on the other hand got even better, as it rose 48 per cent during the quarter.
It moved from 0.45 lakh units to 0.67 lakh units. Its international business also posted its highest quarterly tally at 4.68 lakh units – up from 3.52 lakh units in the same quarter last year. The increase stood at 33 per cent giving TVS a telling contribution on the export front during the April to June 2026 period.

In June 2026 alone, the total two-wheeler sales stood at 5,65,417 units, up 47 per cent over 3,85,698 units sold during the same period in 2025. The domestic two-wheeler volumes reached 4,11,014 units when compared to 2,81,012 units last year with a massive 46 per cent growth. The motorcycle sales reached 2,67,096 units in June 2026 – up 42 per cent from 1,88,774 units.
Models like the Apache series and Raider have been amongst the biggest contributors. The scooter sales grew at a faster pace – rising 53 per cent from 1,62,291 units to 2,47,950 units during the same period thanks to Jupiter, Ntorq, iQube and Orbiter. TVS also posted a huge increase in electric two-wheeler volumes separately as it stood at 48,537 units against 14,400 units in June 2025.

For Q1 FY27, electric two-wheeler sales reached 1.30 lakh units – the company’s highest quarterly EV tally so far. The international business recorded 1,72,355 units in June 2026 compared to 1,17,145 units leading to an increase of 47 per cent. The two-wheeler exports alone stood at 1,54,403 units – registering 48 per cent growth over 1,04,686 units last year.
The brand sold 24,586 three-wheelers during the month compared to 16,303 units in June 2025 – resulting in 51 per cent growth. The category also supported the company’s record Q1 tally with 0.67 lakh units.
