Tata Nexon Pure+ PS has been made available in petrol manual and AMT, twin cylinder CNG manual and diesel in both manual and AMT configurations
Tata Motors has launched the Nexon Pure+ PS – a new variant of the Nexon that brings a voice-assisted panoramic sunroof to the sub-Rs 10 lakh price bracket for the first time in India. The entry point is Rs 9.59 lakh for the petrol manual while the diesel AMT goes all the way up to Rs. 11.19 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom).
The launch also coincides with the Nexon crossing the 1 million units milestone on Indian roads – a significant moment for a nameplate that has been central to Tata’s passenger vehicle turnaround story. The Pure+ PS is offered across four powertrain options – petrol manual and AMT, twin cylinder CNG manual and diesel in both manual and AMT configurations.
The 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine produces 120 PS and is shared with the iCNG variant – making it the most powerful engine in the compact SUV segment. The diesel option, meanwhile, carries the distinction of being the most fuel-efficient in its class. The breadth of powertrain options – petrol, diesel, CNG and electric across the Nexon range remains one of its strongest selling points.

| Variant | Price (Ex-showroom, Delhi) |
|---|---|
| Petrol MT | Rs 9.59 lakh |
| Petrol AMT | Rs 10.14 lakh |
| Twin Cylinder iCNG MT | Rs 10.39 lakh |
| Diesel MT | Rs 10.54 lakh |
| Diesel AMT | Rs 11.19 lakh |
Besides the panoramic sunroof, the Pure+ PS comes well equipped for its price. The feature list includes a 26.03 cm Harman infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 6-speaker audio setup, an HD rear-view camera with guidelines and sensors, auto LED headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, cruise control, LED tail lamps and electric ORVMs with auto fold.
The Nexon has had a strong run over the past year as it was India’s number one SUV in FY2026 and the best-selling car in the second half of the financial year. The Pure+ PS variant appears to be aimed at consolidating that position by addressing one of the more aspirational feature requests from consumers in the sub-four-metre SUV space.

Commenting on the new launch, Vivek Srivatsa, Chief Commercial Officer, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., said, “As India’s #1 selling car in H2FY26 and India’s #1 SUV in FY26, the Nexon continues to remain as the preferred choice for customers across the country. With a 1 million+ strong family, Nexon has always stood for offering a superior all round package to its buyers at every price point.”
