Tata Curvv EV SeriesX has been made available in two variants with a 55 kWh battery pack and a claimed driving range of 502 km per charge
Tata Motors has expanded the Curvv EV lineup with two new variants under the SeriesX line – both running on a 55 kWh battery pack with an ARAI-certified range of 502 km and a real-world range of over 400 km between charges. The Accomplished X 55 is priced at Rs 16.99 lakh while the Empowered X 55 tops out at Rs 19.49 lakh for the Dark edition (all prices ex-showroom Mumbai).
Both variants are available to order immediately through OEM, CSD and KPKB channels. The Accomplished X 55 variant comprises a strong feature set at its price point including a voice-assisted panoramic sunroof with mood lighting, 360-degree camera, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity compatibility to name a few.
It also boasts seats with passive ventilation function at the front. Step up to the Empowered X 55 and the additions are considerable. A 31.24 cm Harman cinematic touchscreen infotainment system, a JBL 9-speaker audio system, Level 2 ADAS with 20 features, a powered tailgate with gesture activation, V2V and V2L charging capability and a frunk are all part of the package.

The V2L function adds genuine real-world utility allowing the car to power external devices. A new Nitro Crimson colour option has also been introduced alongside the SeriesX launch taking the total colour choices for the Curvv EV to five. Backing the ownership experience is Tata’s charging ecosystem which now spans over 30,000 public chargers, 2,500-plus verified charging points and MegaChargers across the country.
The electric vehicle portfolio of Tata has collectively covered over 12 billion kilometres in India and has over 3 lakh owners as the Nexon EV and Punch EV are amongst the best sellers in the country. Both SeriesX variants come with a lifetime high-voltage battery warranty with Tata defining lifetime as 15 years from the date of first registration for the first owner.

The Accomplished X has now become the most affordable 55 kWh variant offered with the Curvv EV which should help attract more consumers into the brand’s fold. Up next, Tata is planning to introduce the electrified version of the Sierra in India this quarter.
