Maruti Suzuki FY26 saw total sales for the full year standings at 24,22,713 units as against 22,34,266 units with a 20.2 per cent growth

Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has reported its best-ever annual performance in FY2025-26, setting new records across total sales volume, net sales and net profit. The company also declared its highest-ever dividend of Rs 140 per share for the year – up from Rs 135 per share in FY2024-25 in its official statement.

Total sales for the full year stood at 24,22,713 units – comprising domestic sales of 19,74,939 units and exports of 4,47,774 units. Compared to total sales of 22,34,266 units in FY2024-25, it led to a healthy growth across both local and export channels. The Indo-Japanese brand’s net sales for the year came in at Rs 1,74,369.5 crore.

The numbers led to a 20.2 per cent increase over the previous year. The net profit for FY26 reached Rs 14,445.4 crore – marginally ahead of the Rs 14,297.6 crore recorded in FY2024-25. A significant driver of the second-half performance was the GST reduction on small cars which triggered a notable increase in domestic demand.

The surge was strong enough to stretch production capacity – leaving the company with around 1,90,000 pending customer orders at the end of the fiscal. Of these, nearly 1,30,000 were in the small car segment covered under the 18 per cent GST bracket. Dealer inventory levels were correspondingly lean – sitting at around 12 days of stock at the close of the year.

The fourth quarter of FY26 was particularly appreciable. The company recorded its highest-ever quarterly sales of 6,76,209 units, up 11.8 per cent from Q4 FY2024-25. The domestic sales during the quarter were 5,38,994 units while exports reached an all-time quarterly high of 1,37,215 units. Its net sales for Q4 crossed the Rs 50,000 crore mark for the first time – coming in at Rs 50,078.7 crore against Rs 38,839.1 crore in the same quarter last year.

The operating profit for the quarter grew 30.4 per cent year-on-year to an all-time high of Rs 4,409.2 crore while net profit for Q4, however, declined 6.9 per cent year-on-year to Rs 3,590.5 crore due to a mark-to-market impact on investments. It is worth noting that Suzuki Motor Gujarat was amalgamated with Maruti Suzuki from December, 2025.
