In March 2026, Toyota registered a total of 35,168 units as against 28,373 units with a YoY sales increase of 24 per cent in India

TKM recorded total domestic sales of 35,168 units last month by registering a healthy 24 per cent year-on-year growth compared to 28,373 units in the same period last year. On a month-on-month basis as well, the brand witnessed a 14 per cent increase over February 2026. The growth was orchestrated by SUVs and MPVs while a few models in the smaller car space saw a dip.

Heading the way was the Urban Cruiser Hyryder which came out as Toyota’s top-selling model for the month with 10,206 units. The midsize SUV posted a massive 93 per cent YoY growth courtesy of the good reception for fuel-efficient hybrid options. The Hyryder also recorded a 9 per cent MoM increase by showing consistency in a highly competitive segment.

In the second position was the Innova range which includes the Crysta and Hycross. It registered 10,156 units in March 2026. While the YoY growth stood at a 3 per cent, the MPV lineup saw a notable 17 per cent MoM jump. The Innova series continues to be a cornerstone product for Toyota especially in both passenger and fleet spaces across India.
