2026 Volkswagen Taigun facelift gains a number of visual updates and enhancements inside the cabin along with a new eight-speed AT
The 2026 Volkswagen Taigun facelift has been launched in India with prices starting at Rs. 10.99 lakh and going all the way up to Rs. 19.29 lakh (ex-showroom). It comprises a wide range of trims including Comfortline, Highline, Highline Plus, GT Line, Topline and GT Plus variants with both manual and automatic gearbox options.
A major highlight is the introduction of a new 8-speed automatic transmission coupled with the 1.0-litre TSI engine, making mid-spec variants more appealing, while Volkswagen is also offering a segment-leading 75 per cent assured buyback program valid for up to three years or 30,000 km. On the outside, the updated Taigun boasts a sharper and more premium design.
It gets a redesigned front grille featuring an integrated LED light band along with illuminated Volkswagen logos at the front and rear – a first for the model. The front bumper has been revised while the rear now sports a new connected LED tail lamp setup with sequential turn indicators and the SUV also rides on new alloy wheel designs while getting new colour options.
