Honda ZR-V will arrive in India as a completely built up import; power comes from a 180 hp 2.0-litre four-cylinder hybrid powertrain paired with an e-CVT automatic

Honda India has released the first official teaser image of the ZR-V ahead of its May 22 launch revealing the front end of the SUV in a dark silhouette. The teaser shows a wide L-shaped LED daytime running light signature flanking a centrally placed illuminated Honda badge and a familiar front grille section found in the global markets.

The headlamp clusters sit low on the front fascia with angular LED elements giving the ZR-V a more horizontal face compared to the upright stance of the Elevate. It will also boast a lower and more raked roofline and wider front end than the Elevate sitting closer in character to a coupe crossover than a conventional SUV.

Roof rails are faintly visible at the top of the silhouette in the teaser suggesting a practical accessory fit alongside the sportier exterior treatment. The ZR-V will arrive in India as a completely built up import positioned as Honda’s flagship SUV in the market and priced in the Rs 40 lakh to Rs 50 lakh bracket. Power comes from a 180 hp 2.0-litre four-cylinder hybrid powertrain paired with an e-CVT automatic.
