VinFast Limo Green fleet variant will carry the brand’s new logo and it will be sold in India following the launch of the VF MPV 7

Accompanying the VF MPV 7 will be VinFast’s fleet-spec version of the same model known as the Limo Green. While the VF MPV 7 is all geared up to be introduced by the middle of this month, its customer deliveries will commence soon as well before the fleet version’s arrival. In an exclusive report, we have shown you images of the Limo Green here.

On which, the Vietnamese brand has incorporated a brand new logo that can be seen on the black flat-bottom steering wheel and placed on a piano black trim covering the width of the vehicle. It will be grafted onto the front grille section as well. In addition, the Limo Green wording will be available on the lower right hand side of the tailgate.

The fleet-spec Limo Green will be positioned differently from the VF MPV 7 not just in terms of equipment but also compliance. It will carry a separate ARAI certification specifically for commercial use as additional regulatory requirements apply to vehicles sold for fleet operations. As you might expect, the feature list will apparently be toned down compared to the standard model.

For example, instead of the dual-tone cabin seen in the VF MPV 7, the Limo Green gains a more basic all-black interior theme. Despite these changes, both versions will share the same architecture and mechanical bits and the two-tone 18-inch wheels gets a slightly different design as well as you could see in the pictures.

Some of the interior equipment that will be available are adjustable headrests, dual cupholders on the centre tunnel, a rotary dial to access multiple functions, fabric seats, an armrest and a floating 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The VF MPV 7 is expected to deliver a claimed range of more than 500 km in the MIDC cycle and will use a 60.13 kWh battery pack.

It works alongside a front axle mounted electric motor developing 204 hp and 280 Nm. The seven-seater layout will remain common between the two and overall practicality including boot space may remain the same – 100 litres with all rows up and 515 litres with third row folded. The VF MPV 7 is longer than Kia Carens Clavis EV and the global version has a ground clearance of 180 mm.

The Limo Green will also come with six airbags as a standard fitment. However, to ensure clear differentiation, the fleet-spec Limo Green will feature subtle exterior revisions. Reservations for the VF MPV 7 are already open in India at Rs. 21,000 and it replenishes from 10 per cent to 70 per cent using an 80 kW DC fast charger in just 30 minutes.
