The pipeline of upcoming SUVs from Mahindra will comprise 16 new models by 2031 including Vision S based baby Scorpio N, Rall E, flagship BE.07 And more
Mahindra has significantly expanded its product ambitions since the original 2024 roadmap. What started as a plan for nine ICE vehicles and seven EVs by 2030 has been revised upward to 16 launches by 2031 – 10 ICE models and six EVs. Of the original target, over half has already been achieved with five ICE models and four electric vehicles launched in the past two years alone.
The XUV 3XO, Thar Roxx, XUV 7XO, Bolero facelift and Bolero Neo facelift cover the ICE side while the BE 6, XEV 9e, XEV 9S and XUV 3XO EV represent the electric additions. Of the 10 ICE products, nine will be entirely new nameplates with one mid-cycle update – widely expected to be the revised Scorpio N.
The majority of these new models will ride on Mahindra’s NU_IQ monocoque platform, unveiled in August 2025 alongside four concept SUVs – the Vision S, Vision X, Vision T and Vision SXT. Production versions of these concepts will slot in the mass market segments looking to appeal to a wide customer base with the first expected to arrive as early as next year.

The Vision S-inspired sub-four-metre SUV is among the more immediate arrivals based on the NU_IQ monocoque chassis. Spotted testing on multiple occasions, it will sit above the XUV 3XO in the lineup and is expected around early 2027. The Vision X concept is also expected to spawn a compact crossover further down the road which could replace the XUV 3XO.
On the ICE update front, the three-door Thar is due for a refresh with styling cues borrowed from the Thar Roxx and a more feature-loaded cabin as seen in spy pictures. The Scorpio N facelift, meanwhile, will bring subtle exterior revisions and interior upgrades while retaining its 2.0-litre petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines unchanged.

The Rall E – a rugged off-road derivative of the BE 6 – is under development on the same INGLO platform bringing a taller stance, increased ground clearance, chunkier tyres and pronounced body cladding to the born-electric formula. It has already been previewed via concept. The BE.07, measuring 4.6 metres, is slated for a 2027 launch as the flagship of Mahindra’s electric range, sitting above the BE 6.
An electric Thar is also in development but no launch timeline has been confirmed. The INGLO platform’s cumulative sales have already crossed 50,000 units since launch – a number that gives Mahindra the commercial foundation and the confidence to push further and faster on the electric front than the original 2024 roadmap had envisioned. The XUV 7XO, the most recent ICE addition, has also found buyers quickly since its introduction.
