2026 Yamaha Fascino 125 gets a reworked rear design as the tail section is now shorter and more sculpted
Yamaha Motor India has introduced a new update for the Fascino 125 with design enhancements while celebrating a major milestone of 1.5 million units produced since its debut. The biggest visual change comes at the rear where Yamaha has significantly reworked the design. The tail section is now shorter and more sculpted than before.
Redesigned LED tail lamps, flashers and the brand’s signature Viconic styling element bring a more premium appearance. All design updates have been conceptualised and executed by Yamaha’s India R&D team. The 2026 Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi is offered in three variants with a wide combination of colour options.
The entry-level Drum variant is priced at Rs. 76,500 (ex-showroom) and comes in shades like Vivid Red, Metallic Black and Metallic White. Moving up, the Disc variant is priced at Rs. 88,000 and is available in more vibrant options such as Cool Blue Metallic, Metallic Light Green and Dark Matte Blue and at the top sits the Fascino S variant which is priced at Rs. 95,200 with premium finishes like Matte Grey and Matte Black along with added features such as the TFT display.

Under the skin, the Fascino continues with its 125 cc Blue Core engine. The air-cooled, fuel-injected motor is paired with Yamaha’s Smart Motor Generator (SMG) system – offering features like silent start and enhanced power assist. The hybrid tech provides better initial acceleration during stop-and-go traffic while maintaining good fuel efficiency.
Features like Stop & Start System (SSS) and E20 fuel compatibility add to its practicality. In terms of hardware, the scooter comes equipped with telescopic front suspension, side-stand engine cut-off and a 21-litre underseat storage compartment. The premium Fascino S variant gains a colour TFT instrument cluster that supports turn-by-turn navigation and the Answer Back function.

The Fascino has evolved significantly since its initial launch in 2015 as a 110 cc scooter. It transitioned to a 125 cc fuel-injected model in 2019 and later became Yamaha’s first hybrid scooter in 2021. Subsequent updates have consistently added more features helping it stay relevant in a competitive segment.
