TVS climbed to the top after exports were added while Hero MotoCorp retained the domestic sales lead ahead of Honda in June 2026

Hero MotoCorp held on to the domestic sales crown in June 2026 with 5,02,890 motorcycles and scooters dispatched across India. Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India occupied second place at 4,68,956 units while TVS Motor finished third with 4,11,014 units. The order changes completely, however, once export volumes are taken into account, as TVS moved ahead of both rivals to emerge as the largest two-wheeler manufacturer for the month on total sales.

The difference came from overseas markets. TVS exported 1,54,403 two-wheelers last month as it finished ahead of Honda’s 59,325 units and Hero MotoCorp’s 38,269 units. The export advantage pushed TVS’s combined domestic and international tally to 5,65,417 units – well ahead of Hero MotoCorp’s 5,41,159 units and Honda’s 5,28,281 units.

TVS also delivered the most noticeable annual growth among the three manufacturers. Its total sales climbed 47 per cent over June 2025 – supported by gains in local and export markets. Honda followed with 26 per cent growth while Hero MotoCorp registered a marginal decline of around 2.3 per cent despite retaining its domestic leadership.
