Customer deliveries of the Range Rover Sport SV will commence in August 2026 and is powered by a 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine
Land Rover has officially introduced the new Range Rover Sport SV in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs. 2.05 crore (ex-showroom). Slotted in as a performance-based version of the Range Rover Sport range, the luxury SUV boasts high performance standards with the brand’s signature premium appeal and everyday usability.
Customer deliveries are scheduled to commence from August 2026 while bookings are now open across authorised JLR dealerships. Powering the new Range Rover Sport SV is a 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine which works in tandem with a mild-hybrid system. The powertrain develops a massive 626 hp and 750 Nm of peak torque – making it the most powerful Range Rover Sport to date.
The high performance SUV is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.8 seconds – one of the quickest luxury SUVs currently on sale in India. A major highlights of the Sport SV is the introduction of Land Rover’s advanced 6D Dynamics suspension setup. The sophisticated system has been engineered to deliver sharper handling characteristics and improved body control while still maintaining the ride comfort expected from a Range Rover product.

It will help enhance stability during aggressive cornering and high-speed driving. As for the design, the Range Rover Sport SV receives several exclusive styling upgrades to distinguish it from the standard Sport variants. The SUV comes with a curated colour palette featuring unique finishes along with a contrasting black roof treatment.
It also rides on large 22-inch forged alloy wheels that further amplify its road presence. The cabin comes with premium Windsor leather upholstery and a panoramic sunroof among the key inclusions. The interior gets performance-oriented detailing and despite its aggressive performance credentials, the Sport SV retains the upmarket ambience and comfort-based features expected in this segment.

The newly launched variant sits below the limited-run SV Edition Two in the Range Rover Sport lineup. Earlier this month, Land Rover had revised pricing for select Range Rover SV models ahead of the India-UK Free Trade Agreement implementation and the new Sport SV now consolidates the brand’s ultra luxury performance SUV portfolio further.
