Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 will use a new 750 cc twin-cylinder engine possibly developing over 55 hp and 60 Nm
Luggage-ready and looking closer to production than ever – the Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 has been caught on camera again but this time with a set of panniers bolted to the rear during what appears to be a loaded touring simulation. The bags are not aftermarket additions thrown on for weight testing.
They could be part of a factory accessories programme that Royal Enfield is developing alongside the motorcycle itself. Compared to the near-production test mule shown at EICMA 2025, very little has changed on the outside. The 750 cc parallel-twin engine sitting at the centre of this motorcycle is expected to draw from the architecture of Royal Enfield’s existing 650 cc platform.
But, it has reportedly been substantially reworked to deliver more performance in the low and mid-range where adventure touring bikes spend most of their time. Peak output may cross 55 hp and 60 Nm channelled through a six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch fitted as standard.

Running gear visible on test mules includes upside-down front forks, long-travel suspension at both ends, dual front disc brakes with ByBre callipers and an alloy wheel combination with wire-spoke tubeless wheels likely in different variants. The chassis is entirely new and is built around a linkage-type rear monoshock setup.
A taller windscreen, a more substantial front fairing and what appears to be a significantly larger fuel tank, tail section shared with the 450, a full-colour TFT display with navigation, smartphone pairing, ride data readouts, multiple riding modes and a suite of electronic rider aids will be other highlights of the upcoming Himalayan 750.

Royal Enfield has publicly committed to putting the Himalayan 750 through an extended testing cycle across diverse terrain throughout this year before it reaches customers. A global debut at EICMA 2026 in Milan appears to be the plan with an India launch likely pencilled in for around the end of 2026. An electric Himalayan is also in the pipeline but takes a back seat to the 750 cc ICE version for now in terms of development priority.
Both domestic and international markets are in scope for the Himalayan 750 and the new 750 cc platform is expected to spawn additional models with varied body styles further down the road.
