BYD Sealion 7 First Anniversary Edition gets exclusive benefits for early buyers including a complimentary 11 kW home charger with installation
The Sealion 7 has already crossed 2,500 units in sales since its debut at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 in India. Building on this momentum, BYD India has now introduced the First Anniversary Edition with bookings officially opening from today. Customers can reserve the special edition with a booking amount of Rs. 70,000.
The SUV remains available in two variants – Premium and Performance – priced at Rs. 49.40 lakh and Rs. 54.90 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively. What sets this edition apart are the exclusive benefits for early buyers. The first 1,100 customers will receive a complimentary 11 kW home charger with installation along with two years of free service and maintenance.
Additionally, the Low Voltage Battery (LVB) now uses LFP technology and comes with an extended 8-year or 1,50,000 km warranty. Under the skin, the Sealion 7 features advanced engineering with BYD’s Cell-to-Body (CTB) architecture and Blade Battery integration which improve structural rigidity and safety. It also comes equipped with Intelligence Torque Adaptation Control (iTAC) and Vehicle-to-Load (VTOL) functionality allowing the SUV to power external devices when needed.
The Performance variant accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds while the Premium version achieves the same in 6.7 seconds. Both variants use an 82.56 kWh battery pack – delivering a claimed range of 542 km and 567 km (NEDC) for the Performance and Premium trims respectively. On the design front, the First Anniversary Edition gains a distinctive Tahiti Blue interior theme.
The exterior continues with its ocean-inspired styling – crafted under the guidance of Wolfgang Egger as it features sleek lines and a clean stance. Inside the cabin, the SUV offers a premium appeal with a 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen infotainment system, quilted Nappa leather seats, 128-colour ambient lighting and a panoramic glass roof.
Additional features such as a 12-speaker Dynaudio audio system, ventilated and heated seats, and 50 W wireless charging are also available. The world’s largest electric vehicle manufacturer continues to expand its electric portfolio in India with the arrival of the Sealion 7 First Anniversary Edition and the portfolio comprises models like the Atto 3, eMAX 7 and Seal.
