Third-generation Renault Duster’s corporate cousin now available for order across India, with customer deliveries scheduled to commence on 20 July
Nissan has finally launched the highly anticipated Tekton, the successor to the Terrano, with prices starting at Rs. 10.49 lakh (ex-showroom). It is offering the new mid-size SUV in six different variants: Visia, Visia+, Acenta, N-Connecta, Tekna, and Tekna+, and below are all their details:
Visia
The Visia variant features LED headlamps with C-shaped LED DRLs, 17-inch steel wheels with wheel caps, power-adjustable ORVMs, and C-shaped LED tail lamps. Interior highlights include a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, a 4-speaker Arkamys Signature sound system, and rear AC vents.

On the safety front, Nissan offers features such as six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Traction Control System (TCS), Cornering Stability Control (CSC), and Hill Start Assist. The company includes a tyre repair kit instead of a spare wheel in this trim. It offers this variant only with a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine and a 6-speed manual transmission.

Visia+

The Visia+ variant brings a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto, steering-mounted audio controls, and a rear-view camera.
Acenta
The Acenta variant upgrades styling with welcome and goodbye sequence animation, flush-fitted roof rails, a shark-fin antenna, and dual-tone wheel covers. Passive keyless entry, engine start-stop button, walk away lock and approach unlock, rear wiper and washer, and rear defogger provide added convenience.
A 10.1-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system, voice recognition system with a steering-mounted button, 60:40-split rear seat, rear centre armrest, and two USB Type-C fast-charging ports (front) are some more highlights of the Acenta variant. Instead of a tyre repair kit, Acenta includes a full-size steel spare wheel.

Nissan also gives an option for a 1.3-litre turbocharged petrol engine linked to a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Customers opting for this engine and the automatic transmission get additional features such as cruise control, electric parking brake with an auto-hold function, paddle shifters, and rear disc brakes.

N-Connecta
The N-Connecta variant further elevates styling with 18-inch gunmetal satin alloy wheels, light bands between the headlamps and tail lamps, Nautical Blue leatherette accents and Immersive Bi-Density Nautical Blue semi-leatherette seat covers.
A dual-zone automatic climate control system, an electric panoramic sunroof, acoustic windshield, sunvisors with vanity mirror and illumination, two rear USB Type-C ports, and 12-volt trunk socket improve comfort and convenience.

The 1.3-litre engine and 6-speed DCT options also upgrade to an elevated centre console, an executive armrest with cooled storage, SleekSide Center Storage, and wireless smartphone charger with ventilation. Customers can also choose a cheaper 6-speed manual transmission with the bigger engine in this variant, though. On the safety front, N-Connecta adds LED front fog lamps, puddle lamps, and rear fog lamps.
Tekna
The Tekna variant sports 18-inch diamond-cut 5-petal alloy wheels and features an electric parking brake and rear disc brakes irrespective of the engine or transmission selected.
A 48-colour mood lighting system and Nautical Blue full leatherette upholstery with quilting on the seat covers give the cabin a more upmarket look. 6-way power driver’s seat with 2-way manual lumbar adjustment and a ventilation function, front passenger seat ventilation, and Smart Air Purifier with Plasmacluster improve comfort.

Rain-sensing wipers, Eco and Comfort drive modes, and Low and High steering modes are also among the upgrades of the Tekna variant. Nissan also includes connected vehicle functions and 15 advanced driver assistance systems. The 1.3-litre engine and 6-speed DCT options see the addition of Hill Descent Control as well.
Tekna+

The Tekna+ variant brings a powered tailgate, 6-way power adjustment for the front passenger seat, a 10.25-inch HD digital instrument cluster, and a 360º camera system. It also includes a tri-tone interior colour scheme comprising Burgundy, Beige, and Rose Gold finishes. Specifying the Tekna+ variant with the 1.3-litre engine and 6-speed DCT also brings Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Stop & Go.
