Tata Motors has released a new promotional video of the Sierra EV which reveals several of its premium features and dual-motor AWD setup
Tata Sierra EV is all set for its market launch in India on June 30, 2026. However, ahead of the official launch, the homegrown automaker has released a new video of the all-electric SUV, which demonstrates its off-road capability in Tal Moreeb, UAE. The new video of the Sierra EV also confirms the presence of several premium and upmarket features in the form of Terrain Modes, Boost Mode and Head-Up Display. It will be positioned between the Curvv EV and Harrier EV in Tata’s portfolio in the Indian market.
First things first, Tata Sierra EV will borrow multiple elements from the Harrier EV, including the dual-motor Quad Wheel Drive setup. The terrain modes have also been sourced from the Harrier EV, as evident by the video which shows the ‘Sand Mode’ selected as the all-electric SUV attempts to climb one of the world’s tallest sand dunes in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Tata Motors has also included the Boost Mode in the Sierra EV. In the promotional video, we can see the instrument cluster flashing “Boost Mode Activated” when the Sierra EV prepares itself to tackle the sand dune in Tal Moreeb. For those asking, the Boost mode provides maximum power and torque instantly during demanding situations, which includes steep inclines.

The instrument panel of the SIerra EV shows battery charge of 80 percent while the remaining driving range is 424 km. It clearly hints at a maximum driving range of nearly around 530 km on a full 100 percent charge. The inclusion of the dual-motor Quad Wheel Drive system from the Harrier EV makes Sierra EV one of the most capable all-electric Tata SUVs in the Indian market.
The Sierra EV will boast of a gloss black body cladding while the steering wheel appears to be the same as in the ICE version. However, it flaunts a gloss black centre panel with the traditional Tata branding instead of the illuminated logo seen on the new Tiago EV. The alloy wheels and head-up display (HUD) are identical to the ICE counterpart, confirmed the video.

The battery pack duties will be helmed by 65 kWh and 75 kWh units.
