2026 Tata Tiago EV will go on sale on May 28 and it will be offered in an expansive range; to likely get a larger battery pack
Tata Motors has officially revealed the interior of the 2026 Tiago EV facelift and the cabin shows a big step up from the outgoing model. The most immediately visible change is the dual screen setup – a wide landscape oriented infotainment display on the left side of the dashboard and a separate rectangular digital instrument cluster positioned behind the steering wheel on the right – both sitting on a two-tone grey and black dashboard surface.
The infotainment screen shows Apple CarPlay running in the revealed image pointing to wireless connectivity support. The digital instrument cluster displays speed, range, battery charge status, time and temperature in a compact but information rich layout – a format that is more readable and modern than the basic unit on the current Tiago EV.
The steering wheel carries the Tata EV badge prominently at the centre with steering mounted controls on both sides for audio, phone and other functions. In short, the interior almost mirrors the changes made to the IC-engined Tiago facelift. The climate control panel sits below the infotainment display with physical rotary dials and button controls.
The lower centre console area has a row of buttons for additional controls along with what appears to be a drive mode toggle positioned nearby. Physical controls for the air conditioning system are visible. The dashboard top surface uses a light grey fabric or soft touch material across its width. The overall dashboard architecture is clean with minimal clutter following the same design direction seen on the ICE version.
The 2026 Tiago EV is expected to drop the 19 kWh entry level battery pack from the range with the 24 kWh unit becoming the new base option. A larger 30 kWh battery pack is speculated at the top of the range offering a longer claimed range. The 6 in 1 i Drive motor from the Punch EV is also expected to be carried across.
Pricing for the facelifted Tiago EV is expected to be slightly higher than the outgoing model with the official launch set to take place on May 28 alongside the ICE facelift.
