Latest spy shots show a Scorpio N-inspired cabin, BE 6’s steering wheel, vertical AC vents and physical controls inside the upcoming Mahindra Vision S
The Vision S has been spotted testing again and the images reveal the interior for the first time in a clearer manner with multiple shots. The SUV, often described as a mini Scorpio N due to its upright stance and proportions, is part of Mahindra’s NU_IQ-based future SUV range and has already been seen testing several times on public roads ahead of its possible launch in early 2027.
The steering wheel seen here looks similar to the one found in the Mahindra BE 6 with a twin-spoke design, illuminated logo area and a flat centre section. It could be a temporary test part as manufacturers often borrow interior components from existing models during validation. The final production version may get a different steering wheel.
The dashboard follows a more conventional SUV setup compared to Mahindra’s born-electric models. A digital driver display is visible behind the steering wheel while the centre section is heavily covered. The infotainment area appears to sit high on the dashboard and the layout shows that Mahindra could offer a wide screen on high-spec variants.

Another visible detail is the vertical AC vent design. The side vents get a tall and rectangular finish with silver surrounds giving the dashboard a more upright look. The centre console also shows physical buttons below the screen area which could be used for climate control, drive functions, hazard lights and other quick-access controls.
The lower centre section houses a manual gear lever – confirming that at least one ICE version is under development. A push-button start is also visible near the dashboard edge while the floor area shows a conventional pedal box. The presence of a manual transmission points to Mahindra targeting a wide price band.

The spy shots also show light-coloured seat upholstery with contrast stitching. The test vehicle seems to have a dual-tone cabin theme with beige or light grey seat inserts and darker side bolsters. The rear seat image shows a broad bench as Mahindra could focus on cabin width and usable second-row space. From earlier exterior spy shots, the Vision S is expected to carry a boxy body, upright nose, squared wheel arches and a high bonnet line.
Its proportions are expected to sit below larger Mahindra SUVs but the design language should draw clear influence from the Scorpio N. The NU_IQ architecture is designed to support multiple body styles and powertrain formats including ICE and EV options. The Vision S appears to be one of the first models from this fleet to move deeper into the testing phase.
