Toyota Kirloskar Motor sold 28,441 units in the domestic market and exported 2,575 units in June 2026 which resulted in a growth of 7 per cent on a YoY basis
Toyota Kirloskar Motor recorded total sales of 31,016 units in June 2026 – posting 7 per cent year-on-year growth over the 28,869 units sold during the same period last year. The monthly tally comprises both domestic sales as well as exports. The brand’s local volumes stood at 28,441 units when compared to 26,453 units in the same month in 2025.
The tally resulted in 8 per cent growth on a year-on-year basis. The exports also moved up from 2,416 units to 2,575 units – registering 7 per cent growth. The Japanese auto major has also crossed the two lakh unit sales milestone during the first half of the calendar year. Between January and June 2026, the company sold 2,01,338 units – up 15 per cent over 1,74,890 units in the corresponding period of 2025.
The domestic sales during the first six months of 2026 stood at 1,85,666 units when compared to 1,61,531 units last year. The export tally increased from 13,359 units to 15,672 units during the same period with a notable jump of 17 per cent growth. Toyota has several popular nameplates on sale in India including the Innova and Fortuner, and is well-known for its loyal customer base.

In addition, the badge engineered models in collaboration with Maruti Suzuki such as the Glanza, Urban Cruiser Taisor and Rumion are also contributing to the overall tally in recent times helping the brand to sustain position amongst the top 5 car manufacturers in the country.
The updated Innova Crysta is one of Toyota’s important volume contributors in India sitting alongside models such as the Innova Hycross, Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Fortuner, Glanza, Rumion and Hilux within the lineup. The brand’s hybrid range has also helped it maintain a good position in the MPV and SUV segments.
