Simple Ultra
Simple Energy has officially revealed the price of its latest electric scooter, the Simple Ultra, marking another major step in its 2026 product expansion strategy. Priced at Rs. 2,34,999 (ex-showroom), the new Ultra is positioned as a premium, long-range electric two-wheeler and is now available for purchase with deliveries already underway across select cities.
The standout highlight of the Simple Ultra is its claimed IDC range of 400 km, making it one of the longest-range electric scooters currently available in India. It draws power from a large 6.5 kWh battery pack, designed to cater to riders looking for extended usability without frequent charging. This focus on range is clearly aimed at reducing range anxiety, especially for those using EVs for daily commuting as well as longer intercity rides.
Performance is another area where the Simple Ultra makes a strong statement. The scooter is capable of achieving a top speed of 115 kmph and can sprint from 0 to 40 kmph in just 2.77 seconds. This makes it one of the quickest electric scooters in the country, second only to the brand’s own Simple One (5 kWh variant). The combination of high speed and rapid acceleration positions the Ultra as a performance-oriented offering in the electric two-wheeler segment.

In terms of features, the Ultra comes equipped with a seven-inch rider console that provides essential riding data and connectivity functions. Additionally, it offers four levels of traction control, enhancing stability and safety across different riding conditions. These features underline the scooter’s focus on both performance and rider assistance, ensuring a more controlled and engaging riding experience.
Simple Energy has also been expanding its retail and service network aggressively. The company currently operates close to 70 touchpoints across major cities including Bengaluru, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kochi and Visakhapatnam, among others. Further expansion plans are already in place, with new outlets expected in cities like Nagpur, Ranchi and Bhubaneswar in the near future. This growing network is expected to support the increasing demand for its electric scooters.
The Simple Ultra is part of the brand’s broader product portfolio update for 2026. Earlier this year, the company introduced the second-generation models of the Simple One and Simple OneS. The Simple One Gen 2 is available with IDC ranges of 236 km and 265 km, while the OneS Gen 2 offers a claimed range of 190 km, catering to different customer needs and price points.
With its segment-leading range, strong performance figures and expanding retail footprint, the Simple Ultra represents a significant push by Simple Energy to establish itself as a key player in India’s rapidly evolving electric mobility space.
