Kia has brought in seven variants, two battery pack choices and equipment ranging from a triple-screen dashboard to Level 2 ADAS and V2L for the Syros EV
The recent unveiled Kia Syros EV will enter the compact electric SUV segment with one of the comprehensive variant line-ups currently on sale in India and its prices will be announced soon. Consumers can choose from seven trims spread across 42 kWh and 51.4 kWh battery packs. The lineup starts with the HTK and extends to the fully loaded X-Line ER while the larger battery is reserved for Extended Range variants.
Battery choices comprise a 42 kWh unit delivering a MIDC-certified driving range of 443 km and a 51.4 kWh pack claimed to return 526 km on a full charge. Peak output stands at 171 PS and 255 Nm while the larger battery propels the SUV from zero to 100 kmph in 8.1 seconds. Meanwhile, DC fast charging replenishes the battery from 10 to 80 per cent in just 39 minutes – complemented by battery conditioning and a battery heating system on higher trims.
Every Syros EV carries Kia’s latest digital cockpit layout centred around a 12.3-inch HD touchscreen, a 12.3-inch digital instrument display and a 5-inch touchscreen climate control panel. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Shift-by-Wire column shifter, paddle shifters for regenerative braking, rear AC vents, electronic parking brake with Auto Hold, rear sunshade curtains, a covered frunk and all-wheel disc brakes are part of the standard package.
