2026 Suzuki Burgman Street gets a host of upgrades and is available in Ride Connect Edition and Ride Connect TFT Edition in India
Suzuki Motorcycle India has officially introduced the second generation Burgman Street 125 in the domestic market with comprehensive updates. Prices start at Rs. 1,01,944 (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the Ride Connect Edition while the more premium Ride Connect TFT Edition is priced at Rs. 1,13,220. The Japanese manufacturer offers the new iteration of one of its best-selling scooters in India in multiple colour options.
The Ride Connect Edition is available in Metallic Royal Bronze, Pearl Matte Shadow Green, Pearl Grace White, Metallic Matte Black No. 2 and Metallic Matte Stellar Blue. Meanwhile, the TFT variant gets dual-tone combinations such as Metallic Matte Black with Luxe Copper, Stellar Blue with Luxe Copper, Platinum Silver with Luxe Copper, Royal Bronze with Luxe Copper and Pearl Grace White with Luxe Copper.
The all-new Burgman Street continues to build on the original model which made its debut back in 2018. As for the design, the scooter gains a sharper approach featuring a split LED headlamp setup with integrated position lights enabling a more modern face along with new LED turn indicators, a revised LED tail lamp, metallic-finish badging, a smoked windscreen and a redesigned upswept exhaust.

The overall silhouette remains maxi-inspired but with cleaner lines and a more premium road presence. Underneath, the scooter is built on a lightweight yet rigid chassis with improved handling and manoeuvrability. The long wheelbase, combined with a tuned suspension setup, is said to enhance stability at higher speeds while maintaining comfort over rough surfaces. Suzuki has also retained the Combined Braking System.
Powering the new Burgman Street is an updated 124 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine based on Suzuki’s Eco Performance (SEP) platform. The motor produces 6.2 kW (8.2 bhp) of power and 10.2 Nm of torque and is claimed to be tuned for improved low- and mid-range response. It is expected to offer improved fuel economy as well in a similar fashion to the latest Access 125 series which received a big upgrade a while ago.

The scooter features a long and well-cushioned seat, flexible floorboard and dedicated front footrests. It also gets a fuel tank of 5.5 litres capacity and a convenient external fuel lid mounted at the rear for easier refuelling. On the utility front, Suzuki has enhanced storage and overall convenience. The Burgman Street now offers an underseat compartment of 24.6 litres, front storage spaces, dual utility hooks and a USB charging port.
Additional features like the Easy Start System, side-stand interlock and water-resistant switches will help improve everyday usability. The Ride Connect TFT Edition takes things a step further with a 4.2-inch colour TFT display and a keyless ignition system. It also includes an answer-back function adding an extra layer of convenience and security. Suzuki will begin retailing the new Burgman Street across its dealerships in India starting April 8, 2026.
