Citroen e-C3X carries an introductory starting price of Rs. 6.89 lakh with battery usage charged at Rs. 2.26 per kilometre while the regular ex-showroom price stands at Rs. 10.25 lakh
Citroen has today announced the launch of the updated e-C3X with a revised ownership model, new styling enhancements and a more feature-rich cabin. Positioned as a compact electric crossover, the new e-C3X arrives with the brand’s Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) programme allowing customers to purchase the vehicle separately from the battery and thereby reducing the initial acquisition cost significantly.
Under BaaS, customers can buy the vehicle at a lower ex-showroom price and pay separately for battery usage through a kilometre-linked EMI plan. Citroen says the strategy will lower the entry barrier into EVs while offering more predictable running costs. Introductory pricing starts from Rs. 6.89 lakh with battery usage charged at Rs. 2.26 per kilometre while the regular ex-showroom price stands at Rs. 10.25 lakh.
The Citroen e-C3X combines crossover-inspired styling cues with compact dimensions. The exterior receives LED headlamps, split LED daytime running lamps, front fog lamps, redesigned X-specific badging, diamond-cut 15-inch alloy wheels, front and rear skid plates, electrically adjustable and auto-folding outside mirrors and a ground clearance of 170 mm.

Citroen also claims a tight turning radius of 4.98 metres. The e-C3X carries forward the brand’s signature suspension setup and specially developed comfort seats. Since propulsion comes entirely from an electric powertrain, occupants also benefit from a vibration-free and near-silent driving environment. An upgraded climate control system based on Indian weather conditions has been integrated as well with Citroen claiming enhanced cooling efficiency during extreme summer temperatures.
The cabin receives a noticeable visual refresh through a new Electric Blu-themed dashboard treatment and revised upholstery choices. Depending on the variant, buyers can choose between dual-tone leatherette seats with blue accents or fabric seat upholstery. The practicality and spaciousness remain in check courtesy of a 2,450 mm wheelbase, generous shoulder room and a 315-litre luggage compartment.

The centre console houses a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity while a new seven-inch TFT digital instrument cluster gets blue-themed graphics specific to the EV. Additional features include wireless smartphone charging, an electrochromic inside rear-view mirror and Connected Car 2.0 technology offering more than 40 remote-access functions.
Customers seeking additional equipment can opt for a JBL premium sound package and a front-and-rear dashcam system. The dashcam setup is integrated with predictive safety functions such as lane departure alerts, front vehicle distance monitoring and warnings for pedestrians or other vulnerable road users. The e-C3X is underpinned by a structure incorporating a high proportion of high strength and ultra high strength steel.

Standard safety provisions include six airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child-seat anchors, automatic door locking based on speed, a high-speed warning system and a dedicated battery protection architecture. The floor-mounted battery placement also contributes to a lower centre of gravity while aiding stability during cornering.
The Citroen e-C3X has been made available in six colour options namely Polar White, Steel Grey, Cosmo Blue, Perla Nera Black, Garnet Red and Deep Forest Green while interior themes include Electric Blu dashboard with dual-tone leatherette upholstery and blue accents (Shine), Electric Blu dashboard with dual-tone leatherette upholstery and blue highlights (Live-O)
and Electric Blu dashboard with black fabric seats (Live).
Bookings for the updated Citroen e-C3X have commenced across the brand’s dealership network in India while online reservations are also now open through the company’s official channels.
