Tata Motors recorded a total sale of 59,090 units in May 2026 – registering a notable 42 per cent year-on-year increase compared to 41,557 units during the same month last year. While overall volumes remained largely flat against April 2026, the growth was orchestrated by the Punch and Nexon while Harrier posted a healthy double-digit gain too.

The brand also had four SUVs among its top five best-selling models. The biggest contributor once again was the Punch. Taking the Nexon into account, which delivered 19,100 units and grew 46 per cent year-on-year, the two SUVs accounted for more than 39,000 units and nearly two-thirds of Tata’s total sales during the month. Another top level performer was the Harrier.
