Mahindra is expected to bring in a slew of new models over the next couple of years across different segments in India
Mahindra & Mahindra has been steadily increasing its presence in both ICE and EV segments over the last few years and the momentum is set to continue with a wide range of upcoming products. From off-roaders to next-gen electric SUVs, the brand’s upcoming product plan comprises brand new offerings and nameplates, facelifts and more.
In the electric domain, Mahindra has already made significant progress with recent models like the XEV 9e, BE 6 special editions and the three-row Mahindra XEV 9S. These purpose-built EVs have seen appreciable demand with cumulative sales crossing 41,000 units in just 10 months. Building on this, a more rugged iteration of the Mahindra BE 6 is currently in development.
Expected to carry the Rall-E badge, it will be based on the INGLO platform as well and will likely share its battery and motor setup with the standard model. However, it will stand out with a more upright stance, increased ground clearance, chunkier wheels and additional body cladding for a better off-road appeal. It was previously previewed via concept.

Switching focus to the ICE updates, Mahindra is preparing mid-cycle facelifts for its popular ladder-frame SUVs including the Mahindra Scorpio N and Mahindra Scorpio Classic. Test mules suggest subtle exterior revisions while the interiors could receive upgraded materials and new-age tech such as driver assistance systems. The Scorpio N will continue with its existing 2.0-litre petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines without mechanical changes.
Another important update in the pipeline is for the three-door Mahindra Thar. Spy images indicate design tweaks influenced by the Thar Roxx along with improvements inside the cabin. Customers can expect revised equipment lists and more digital elements to feature in the forthcoming lifestyle SUV akin to its five-door sibling.

Mahindra is also testing a sub-four-metre SUV inspired by the Vision S concept. Likely to arrive around 2027, it is expected to be underpinned by the NU_IQ architecture and could slot in as a smaller and more accessible SUV within the lineup above the XUV 3XO. Alongside these developments, latest ICE models such as the Mahindra XUV 7XO – a more premium evolution of the XU V700 – have already gained positive traction in the market.
An electric off-roader based on the Thar is also expected in the near future while the Vision X may spawn a compact Fronx-sized crossover. The BE.07 concept based born-electric SUV underpinned by the INGLO platform will arrive as early as next year and it will measure around 4.6 metres in length as it will slot above the BE 6.
