Triumph has revised pricing across the 400 cc lineup making the motorcycles more accessible with on-road savings going up to Rs. 21,500
Triumph Motorcycles has reached a significant milestone in India as its 400 cc portfolio has recently surpassed 1 lakh retail sales. Alongside the huge achievement, the company has revised pricing across the lineup making the motorcycles more accessible with on-road savings going up to Rs. 21,500 depending on the model.
The updated price list brings a new entry point for consumers looking to step into the brand. The range now begins at Rs. 1.95 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) with the Triumph Speed T4 positioned as the most affordable option. The rest of the lineup includes the Speed 400 priced at Rs. 2,31,890, Scrambler 400 at Rs. 2,59,241, Thruxton 400 at Rs. 2,65,538 and the Scrambler 400 XC topping the range at Rs. 2,89,534.
The catalyst driving this price correction is the benefit of a lower 18 per cent GST bracket which has been made possible by the introduction of new 350 cc engines. The structural change has allowed Triumph to pass on cost advantages to customers – effectively reducing overall ownership costs without altering the product in a significant manner.

Triumph’s growth trajectory in India is also being supported by an expanding retail footprint. The company now operates across more than 230 outlets in over 200 towns giving it deeper reach into both metro cities and smaller markets. The widespread presence has played a main role in building visibility and accessibility for the brand.
Looking further into the future, the company appears well-positioned for further expansion in FY27. The addition of the 350 cc platform combined with improved pricing and wider reach is expected to bring in a new set of customers who may have previously found the brand out of reach. Commenting on the price announcement, Manik Nangia, President, Probiking, Bajaj Auto Ltd., said,

“Bolstered by the massive success of our 400 range, with 1 lakh Triumphs now on Indian roads, we enter FY27 with strong momentum. The 18% GST bracket enables more competitive pricing while retaining the character and engineering excellence that define our products. We are confident that with these on-road savings, we will be able to bring many more riders into the Triumph family.”
The British brand has also added Tracker 400 to the revised lineup in India. The T4 in this 350 cc avatar develops 29 PS at 7,500 rpm and 31 Nm at 5,500 rpm. The Speed 400 and Scrambler, on the other hand, now kick out 37 PS at 8,500 rpm and 32 Nm at 7,000 rpm. The Thruxton 350 churns out 40 PS at 8,750 rpm and 32 Nm at 7,500 rpm making it the most powerful offering along with the Tracker.

The downsized engine in the Speed 400 manages 0–100 kmph in 8.1 seconds while the Scrambler takes 8.8 seconds, the Thruxton does it in 8.3 seconds and the T4 in 9.6 seconds. The T4 reaches 137 kmph top speed, the Speed touches 147 kmph, the Scrambler hits a claimed 144 kmph and the Thruxton at 157 kmph.
