The Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella will be positioned as a feature-rich electric SUV in the midsize segment with pricing expected to be announced soon in India following the recent launch of its sibling, the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara. It will be underpinned by the Heartect e skateboard electric architecture developed jointly with Suzuki.
It is being produced at SMC’s Gujarat facility. The bigger battery comes with a claimed driving range of 543 km on a single charge while both setups will support conventional AC charging as well as CCS2 DC fast-charging capability.
On the inside, the cabin features a dual-screen layout with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch infotainment system with wireless connectivity options. Higher variants are available with ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, a panoramic glass roof, wireless charging and a premium JBL sound system while the rear seats offer sliding and reclining functions.
