Skoda Peaq will stand as the largest EV from the brand yet and it will be the most spacious production model too

Slated to arrive globally around mid-2026, the Skoda Peaq will stand as the largest EV yet from Skoda. Stretching to nearly 4.9 metres in length, 1.7 metres in height and riding on a 2,965 mm wheelbase, it will be positioned as a flagship offering and on the outside, it boasts the most evolved version of its Modern Solid design language.

Up front, it features a glossy black face panel with vertical slats and LED illumination coupled with full Matrix LED headlamps housing 18 light elements. Its overall stance is further accentuated by aerodynamically optimised alloy wheels ranging from 19 to 21 inches along with a wide palette of ten exterior colour choices.

With its long wheelbase, the Skoda Peaq is said to offer exceptional comfort across both the second and third rows including generous headroom in the third row. Consumers can opt for either a seven-seat or five-seat configuration which further improve its practicality. In five-seat form, the Peaq offers up to 1,010 litres of boot space – making it the most spacious production Skoda yet.

The seven-seat version provides up to 299 litres while an additional 37-litre front storage compartment will also be available. The cabin gets multiple interior themes such as premium Suite variants finished in Techtona material along with Loft, Lodge and Sportline configurations. Sustainable materials are widely used with select variants incorporating over 50 kg of recycled content.

The setup can adjust lighting, climate and seating functions across multiple modes and is complemented by a premium audio system developed in collaboration with Sonos. The Peaq gets a fully modern interface with a 13.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10-inch driver display and an optional augmented reality head-up display.

It runs an Android-based system supporting apps like Spotify, YouTube and Google Maps along with a digital key that allows access via smartphones or smartwatches. Powertrain options comprise multiple variants delivering outputs between 150 kW and 220 kW. Higher trims are expected to offer a driving range of over 600 km between charges with DC fast charging enabling 10 to 80 per cent top-ups in under half an hour.

The all-wheel-drive version also vows to have strong performance characteristics with a 0 to 100 kmph sprint time of just 6.7 seconds. Additional highlights include flush door handles that retract for better aerodynamics, a large panoramic roof with adjustable transparency and bidirectional charging capabilities such as Vehicle-to-Load and Vehicle-to-Home.
