Royal Enfield managed to breach the one lakh sales mark for three consecutive months between August and October 2025 in India

Royal Enfield has hit a major milestone in FY26 with its monthly sales consistency playing a huge role in the achievement. The brand managed to breach the one lakh units mark for three consecutive months between August and October 2025 – peaking at 1.17 lakh units in October alone. The steady run of strong dispatches laid the foundation for what has become a record-setting year in the domestic market.

Between April 2025 and February 2026, the Chennai-based manufacturer recorded 10.07 lakh units in India – registering a healthy 24 per cent growth over the same period last year. The numbers indicate the first time the brand has crossed the 10 lakh domestic sales mark within a single financial year as it continues to dominate the middleweight motorcycle segment.

Looking at the bigger picture, the ongoing financial year is shaping up to surpass previous records. In the previous fiscal, the company posted a total of 10.10 lakh units including exports with domestic sales accounting for 9.03 lakh units. With March 2026 figures yet to be included, projections indicate that FY26 could close by adding another lakh.

A major contributor to this performance continues to be the brand’s 350 cc portfolio. Out of the total 10.07 lakh units sold so far this year, around 9.31 lakh units have come from four key models – the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Bullet 350, Hunter 350 and Meteor 350. Together, they contribute roughly 92 per cent of the company’s total volumes.

Among these, the RE Classic 350 continues to lead the charge with about 40 per cent share within the segment. The Bullet 350 follows at around 25 per cent while the Hunter 350 and Meteor 350 collectively make up the remaining 35 per cent. It has enabled the company to command an impressive 94 per cent share in the 350 cc category which itself saw volumes of 9.91 lakh units during the same timeframe.

However, performance varies in higher displacement categories. In the 350 to 500 cc space, combined volumes of the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 and Royal Enfield Himalayan stood at 32,994 units with a 7 per cent drop year-on-year. However, the 650 cc range delivered 42,640 units with a dominant 97 per cent share in the high-end category where total industry volumes stood at 44,156 units.
