The start of the new financial year often sees new models across different segments and price points flooding the car market and it won’t be any different this time around as April 2026 is expected to see new arrivals from Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra, Volkswagen, Toyota, JSW MG and Mercedes-Benz:
1. Mercedes-Benz CLA EV:

The Mercedes-Benz CLA EV will be introduced in April 2026 and it will stand in place of the A-Class sedan, EQA and EQB electric SUVs in India. It was previously sold in a ICE avatar before getting the axe back in 2020 and it could be offered with an 85kWh battery pack coupled with an RWD motor.
2. MG Majestor:

First debuted at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo, the production-spec MG Majestor was officially revealed a few weeks ago. The full-size three-row SUV will be positioned as the flagship MG SUV and its pre-bookings are taken for Rs. 41,000 with prices likely set to be announced in April. It is essentially a more premium version of the Gloster inside and out.
3. Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella:

Revealed a few weeks ago in India, the Urban Cruiser Ebella could hit the domestic scenes next month as its prices are expected to be in line with that of the recently launched Maruti Suzuki e Vitara. However, the 1.0L turbo petrol and 1.5L turbo petrol engines will stay put.
5. 2026 Maruti Suzuki Brezza Facelift:

Maruti Suzuki has been extensively testing the facelifted Brezza on public roads and it will likely go on sale in April 2026. Besides minor visual enhancements, it will get an underbody CNG tank that would help preserve bootspace in a similar fashion to the Victoris while a new six-speed MT could join the lineup as well.
6. Mahindra Thar 3-Door Facelift/Scorpio N Facelift:

While no confirmed launch date has been announced yet, it is no secret that the updated three-door Thar taking inspiration from the bigger Thar Roxx and the mid-cycle update for the Scorpio N have already been caught testing multiple times and we expect either of them to launch sometime next month in India with cosmetic revisions and new feature additions.
