V8-powered 2026 BMW X6 M60i xDrive arrives as a CBU with 530 hp and 750 Nm, adaptive suspension and 0 to 100 kmph in just 4.3 seconds
BMW India has launched the X6 M60i xDrive for a price tag of Rs. 1.77 crore (ex-showroom). The coupe-SUV reaches India as a Completely Built-Up Unit and sales have started through BMW dealerships across the country. It is equipped with a 4.4L V8 petrol engine mated to a 48V mild-hybrid system. The eight-cylinder unit kicks out 530 hp max power and 750 Nm of peak torque.
The powertrain is linked with an eight-speed Steptronic Sport automatic gearbox which sends power to all four wheels as standard. The BMW X6 M60i xDrive can accelerate from standstill to 100 kmph in just 4.3 seconds before topping out at 250 kmph. It must be noted that BMW has given the model a rear-biased xDrive AWD system, M Sport differential, Adaptive M suspension and Integral Active Steering.
The rear-wheel steering setup turns the rear wheels in the opposite direction at lower speeds and in the same direction at higher speeds. The braking package uses M Sport hardware and red calipers as well. The exterior boasts a large kidney grille finished in matte black, vertical double ribs and M badging. In addition, the slim adaptive LED headlamps use arrow-shaped daytime running light elements while M Shadowline lights are part of the specification too.

Gloss black M exterior mirrors, M-specific side skirts and M High-gloss Shadowline trim add to the darker exterior treatment. At the rear, the X6 M60i xDrive gets a pair of sleek tail lamps extending into the tailgate, a Dark Shadow lower apron insert and trapezoidal exhaust finishers. The M Sport package Pro is standard and adds a quad-pipe M Sport exhaust, M seat belts, red brake calipers and a black high-gloss rear spoiler.
The SUV-coupe leaves the factory on 21-inch M light-alloy wheels and run-flat tyres. Colour choices are Aventurine Red, Manhattan Metallic, Brooklyn Grey, Black Sapphire, Mineral White and Isle of Man Green. The standard cabin trim is Sensafin, offered in Silverstone, Tacora Red/Black, Black and Cognac. The customisation options give access to more than 40 paint shades and extended Merino leather options in Ivory White, Coffee, Tartufo and Black.

The cabin gains a 12.3-inch digital information screen and a 14.9-inch control screen behind one glass panel. The dashboard has a Sensafin surface treatment, fine wood trim, metal-effect detailing and an ambient light bar carrying the M graphic on the passenger side. Moreover, the front comfort seats get ventilation, lumbar support, electric adjustment and memory function for the driver.
Massage function can be specified for the driver and front passenger with eight programmes and three intensity levels. The interior also gets soft-close doors, Harman Kardon surround sound with 16 speakers and a 464 W amplifier along with an Alcantara M headliner as optional. The features list also comprises head-up display, navigation, BMW OS 8.5 and intelligent personal assistant amongst others.
The X6 M60i xDrive also features 360-degree surround-view camera system while the reversing assistant can store the last 200 metres driven and help steer the car backwards along the same path. Safety equipment composes six airbags, ABS with Brake Assist, Dynamic Stability Control, Dynamic Traction Control, Cornering Brake Control, side-impact protection, tyre pressure indicator, ISOFIX mounts and crash sensors.
