With rising input costs, Maruti Suzuki has introduced a small price for several of its cars sold through Arena showrooms, save for the Victoris
Maruti Suzuki has revised the prices of most of the cars it offers at Arena showrooms. While most of the models seeing this revision have become dearer, the Victoris is an exception, having received a price cut. The GST revisions introduced in September last year have brought a much-needed boost to the entry-level hatchback segment.
Maruti Suzuki has excluded most of its cars in this segment from any price hikes to sustain momentum. The company has not raised or reduced the prices of the S-Presso, Alto K10, or Celerio, which cost Rs. 3,49,900 (ex-showroom), Rs. 3,69,900 (ex-showroom), and Rs. 4,69,900 (ex-showroom) in the base trim, respectively.
The Maruti WagonR, on the other hand, has received a price hike of Rs. 4,500. According to the company’s website, its prices now start at Rs. 4,98,900 (ex-showroom). The Maruti Swift, which costs Rs. 5,78,900 (ex-showroom), has received a price hike of Rs. 4,000 or Rs. 7,500, depending on the configuration.
