2026 Skoda Slavia facelift is expected to come with a raft of style, functional, and premium upgrades in the third quarter of the year

While the new Kushaq has just been launched, the new Slavia is still undergoing rigorous road testing a few months ahead of its market debut. Recently, the upcoming sedan was spied with one of its most anticipated features – dynamic turn signals.

The Skoda Slavia currently features halogen turn indicators at the front and rear, and both should be replaced with LED turn signals with the mid-cycle refresh later this year. At the front, the LED daytime running lights will likely double as the turn signals, featuring a regular blinking pattern.

At the rear, the combination lamps will incorporate new turn signals positioned in the lower outer corner. These turn signals will sweep from inside to out, mimicking the styling of luxury sedans such as Audi’s A4 and A6. Skoda will likely replace even the halogen reverse lights with LED units.

In addition to the headlamps and rear combination lamps, the bumpers, 16-inch alloy wheels, and front grilles are also likely to feature a new design on the facelifted Slavia. Skoda may also offer one or two new paint options to further distinguish the updated model from the current one. Inside, the overall design is likely to remain largely similar to the current model. Skoda may change the Slavia’s upholstery and certain decor elements.

While the looks won’t be much different, the interior will gain some interesting new tech. The top trim will come with a new, fully digital instrument cluster measuring 10.25 inches diagonally. The rear seat will include a massage function, which will be a first-in-segment feature.

The new Skoda Slavia will be launched with the same 1.0-litre TSI turbocharged three-cylinder petrol and 1.5-litre TSI evo turbocharged four-cylinder engines as the current model. However, instead of the 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission offered as an option with the former, there will be a new 8-speed unit.

While the current Slavia with the 1.0-litre TSI engine and 6-speed automatic transmission delivers a fuel economy of 18.73 km/l, the new model with the same engine and the 8-speed automatic transmission could achieve a rating of 19.73 km/l. The 6-speed manual and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmissions will be carried over.
